Ezra

The book of Ezra tells the story of the Jewish exiles returning to Jerusalem under the leadership of Ezra the scribe. They rebuild the Temple and follow God's law, in contrast to their predecessors who intermarried with foreigners. Ezra exhorts the people to repent and obey God's commands, resulting in renewed commitment to their faith and covenant with God. Ultimately, Ezra's leadership brings about a renewed focus on God's law and worship, as the people rebuild and dedicate the Temple.
