Judges chronicling a series of leaders, commonly referred to as judges, who saved Israel from oppression but also display personal flaws and failings. The overarching theme is the recurring cycle of disobedience, defeat, repentance, and deliverance, urging the reader to learn from history and avoid similar patterns.
