May we take comfort in the fact that God's comfort and hope is accessible to all.

Reflection Questions:

Section 4: The Power of God's Word (Isaiah 21:7-8)

Devotional Thought: God's response to the man's cry is found in His commanding word, which brings comfort and restoreth the spirit of the languishing. May we trust in God's faithfulness to deliver His promises through His Word.

Reflection Questions:

  • In what ways can you deepen your trust in God's faithfulness to deliver His promises through His Word?
  • In what ways can you cling to God's Word, especially in times of suffering?

Devotional Thought: God's love and mercy sustain us through the darkest of nights and the longest of days. His steadfast love never ceases, no matter how long we endure. Take heart in the fact that God's love and mercy empowers us to persevere and endure.

Reflection Questions:

  • How have you experienced God's love and mercy in the midst of suffering?
