In this study, we will delve into Jeremiah 32, where we find one of the most inspiring and incredible displays of faith.

Section 1: The Purchase of a Field (Jeremiah 32:1-5)

Devotional Thought: Jeremiah receives a message from God that Judah will be exiled. He fears the implications and future of his family's inheritance in his homeland. Seeking to safeguard his family's possessions, Jeremiah purchases a field. Choose one area of your life where you fear the future and trust God's faithfulness to protect and provide.

Section 2: The Sealed Scroll (Jeremiah 32:6-15)

Devotional Thought: Jeremiah publicly speaks the message of Judah's impending doom by presenting a sealed scroll to the elders. They present a petition for Jeremiah's release from his service, but Jeremiah trusts in God’s promises for his people. We are reminded that while the future seems uncertain, we must trust that God has a plan.

Section 3: The Redeemer of Land (Jeremiah 32:16-25)

Hananiah is skeptical yet Jeremiah's faithfulness in trusting God's redemption of land never wavers. His trust initiates a divine encounter wherein God reminds Himself of His covenant with David.

The encounter inspires Hananiah to seek God wholeheartedly, dedicating himself to God's work even after Judah's downfall. Hananiah reveals that trust in God not only safeguards and protects us but provides comfort and solace.
